National Properties Holdings has opened its third newly built boutique hotel apartment in Hong Kong, The Jervois.

After two successful collaborations with renowned French designer Andrée Putman on The Putman and Le Rivage, National Properties selected the internationally acclaimed designer Christian Liaigre for the interiors of The Jervois.

“Our company remains committed to providing world-class design to Hong Kong.” remarked Loewe Lee, Managing Director of National Properties. “With Christian Liaigre, The Jervois exemplifies our vision in offering this new concept to all of our developments.”

The Jervois occupies a corner site on Jervois Street in Sheung Wan and offers residents easy access to Hong Kong’s office towers, luxury shopping centres and fine restaurants in Central. With the dazzling clubs and bars in SoHo and antique stores and contemporary art galleries in Noho also nearby, The Jervois provides an ideal accommodation for both leisure and business travellers.

The Jervois offers 49 one and two-bedroom suites (700 sq ft and 1,550 sq ft), each with its own private lift lobby. The top five penthouse levels consist of two-bedroom units with views of picturesque Victoria Harbour.

Christian Liaigre’s design of the interiors is inspired by handicraft and nature, employing rustic materials such as textured wood and fine leather and fabrics. These touches give The Jervois a timeless yet contemporary style, with an interior that exudes elegance, warmth and comfort. Custom-designed furniture and furnishings by Mr. Liaigre include grained leather benches, rich wood panelling and lavish marble bathrooms.

Every unit in The Jervois has been designed to make you feel as if you’ve stepped into your own home, with large floor-to-ceiling glass walls and abundant amenities, including a Toshiba 40” full HD LCD television, a Philips DVD system with dock for iPod/iPhone, a personal safe, complimentary wireless and fixed line broadband internet connection, a Siemens cordless phone with voicemail, a direct line and caller ID display, and Local TV, Now TV, and Cable TV channels.

The bedroom features luxurious Frette sheets and bed linens, a cozy Simmons mattress and white goose down duvet and pillows. A full set of high quality cookware and crystal wine glasses add a stylish flair to the accommodation.

In addition, the hotel apartment provides 24-hour concierge services as well as daily housekeeping services (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

The property makes available a full range of conveniences to meet the various daily needs of residents, including a laundry room and business center on the first floor, a complimentary gym membership and an open sundeck with barbecue facilities on the rooftop.
