Cleartrip, one of India’s leading online travel companies, has signed a multi-year technology agreement which will see Amadeus provide the company with fare search technologies and access to global travel content through the Amadeus system.

Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Cleartrip’s multi-modal offering includes air, hotel, and rail for leisure and corporate travellers.

Under the new long-term partnership, Cleartrip will use Amadeus as its primary technology provider for its online air offering. The company’s website will be powered by Amadeus Web Services 2.0 - a second-generation, state-of-the-art global technology platform that provides full access to Amadeus’ extensive content of over 110,000 hotels, 430 bookable airlines and more.

Cleartrip will also implement Amadeus Master Pricer, a low fare search tool which uses algorithms to help travellers find flight options, quickly and easily, to suit their travel needs and budget.

Mr. Stuart Crighton, Chief Executive Officer, Cleartrip said, “Cleartrip is synonymous with creating seamless travel experiences, supported by a market–leading approach to technology. Finding partners that compliment what we do to benefit our customers, is a key part of our process. Through this partnership with Amadeus we are confident that Cleartrip will deliver low fare search technology and breadth of content, something that matters most for customers and partners.”

Mr. David Brett, President of Amadeus Asia Pacific added, “We are proud to be chosen as the primary technology partner of Cleartrip which has established itself as one of the leading online travel agencies in India within just six short years of its inception. India is a highly competitive and demanding market which contributes to it being one of the most dynamic and fast growing online travel markets in the Asia Pacific region, with expected growth of 24% this year.”
