AirAsia has launched a new promotion with
400,000 seats available at special fares until 26
February 2012.
The ‘Asia On Sale’ promotion features the various
Asian destinations that AirAsia flies to, and is available for
travel between 20 March and 12 August 2012.
Travellers
with the BIG global loyalty card will also be entitled to 8x BIG
Points throughout this ‘Asia On Sale’ promotion, though the 8x BIG Points
is not valid for flights exiting Malaysia and Malaysia domestic
flights. Travellers who book these routes will still receive their
respective BIG Points of 1 point for each RM2 spent.
Travellers are able to fly with all-in-fares from as low as RM20
one way to domestic destinations within Malaysia such as Penang, Johor Bahru, Miri, Sibu, Tawau, Sandakan and many more.
Travellers can also take advantage of this promotion to plan
for the school holidays with great destinations such as Singapore,
Macau, Shenzhen, Hat Yai, Semarang, Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh city
on sale from as low as RM50 one way. For those planning to travel further, all-in-fares to Indian cities such as Trichy, Kolkata,
Bangalore and Chennai are from only as low as RM200 one way.
With the recent
reduction of check-in baggage and
sports equipment fees, AirAsia passengers can also take advantage and
save up to 50% when they book their baggage allocations online,
which would mean lower costs and more convenience when guests
travel with AirAsia.
Travellers who use the BIG Prepaid Visa Card
(currently only available for guests with valid Malaysian address
only) as a payment method are also exempted from the processing
fees for the usage of charge cards. The processing fees have also
been reduced by 38% in December 2011.
AirAsiaGo, the holiday division of the world’s best low cost
airline is tagging along in giving special deals to AirAsia
guests with 10% discount on selected hotels in Asia for the same
booking and travel period as the ‘Asia On Sale’ promotion. Guests
are able to enjoy this discount by keying in the promo code
‘ASIA2302’ when making their bookings.
