His previous positions with the company include senior director for program management for the Americas Continental Lodging Services and Global Learning Department; area director of HR in the southern U.S. region, where he oversaw all Marriott brands; area director of human resources, overseeing hotels and resorts in Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia; and director of human resources of the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok.

Taikitsadaporn was also part of Marriott's International Management Training Network, where he facilitated management development workshops.

Before joining Marriott, Taikitsadaporn was group human resources development director for Royal Garden Resorts Group (Minor International) and training manager for Sheraton Hotels in Thailand.

Taikitsadaporn graduated from SHA in 1993. In 2002, he completed his master's of management degree in a joint program among Northwestern University's J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and Chulalongkorn University's Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration.

In the coming year, Taikitsadaporn will work with his fellow CHS executive board members to increase engagement among the society's stakeholders, develop a mentorship program for alumni and students, survey alumni to learn how CHS can better serve their needs, and work with SHA administration to bring more faculty members to CHS chapter events around the world.
