Aston Signs Convention Center Complex Deal in Jakarta

Aston has signed a management agreement under which the group will pioneer an extensive convention center linked to 3 hotels with a combined total room inventory of more 800.

The deal, penned with the Paramount Group, will see the a new convention center with more than 5000 sqm of flexible meeting and exhibition space and an adjacent 360 room four-star Aston, 199 room three-star Quest and a 250 room select service favehotel open its doors in the centre of the Indonesian capital in 2014.

Located in Slipi, West Jakarta, just minutes from the so called “Golden Triangle” central business district and within easy reach from Jakarta’s Soekarno Hatta International Airport, the 3 new hotels and convention center will form part of the Paramount City mega block mixed-used development which will also contain an international hospital, several residential towers, an 35 stories office tower and a 25.600 square meter life style mall.
