Gilles Evrard Joins Plaza Athénée Bangkok, a Royal Méridien Hotel, as Hotel Manager

The Plaza Athénée Bangkok, a Royal Méridien Hotel, has appointed Mr. Gilles Evrard as Hotel Manager.

Gilles has more than 18 years of hospitality industry experience mainly in Food and Beverage roles.

Prior to joining Plaza Athénée Bangkok, a Royal Méridien Hotel, he was Deputy General Manager of Sheraton Sharm Hotel, Resort, Villa & Spa in Egypt.

Located on Wireless Road, the features five restaurants, one bar and a bakery, a tropical roof top pool, day spa, and fully equipped fitness centre including jogging track and squash court.

For MICE the hotel has over 5,600 square metres of flexible event and meeting space.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Ploenchit BTS Skytrain station and with easy access to two expressways and the hotel is, dependent on traffic conditions, less than an hour from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
