HotelTravel.com has signed a partnership agreement with Swiss Quality Hotels International to sell the Zurich-based group's portfolio of hotels.

Swiss Quality Hotels offer a wide range of hotels in some of the most renowned destinations in 44 cities around Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy.

“This agreement continues HotelTravel.com's commitment to deliver real choice to our customers. Both our companies believe in providing the very best customer experience and HotelTravel.com looks forward to a long and mutual beneficial partnership in the years to come,” said Chief Information Officer, Olivier Dombey.

Established in April 1986 and operating since 2004 under the brand Swiss Quality Hotels International, the company was one of the first hotel groups in Switzerland to implement their own hotel classification system. This system is designed to allow customers to differentiate between the standard of their chosen hotel before arrival.

Its four classifications are 'Swiss Quality Excellence', 'Swiss Quality Superior', 'Swiss Quality Value' and 'Swiss Quality Economy'.

Swiss Quality Hotels International’s Managing Director, Mrs Eva Fischer, said, “I am delighted to see the launch of the cooperation with HotelTravel.com. Not only does it broaden our distribution network, but it clearly serves a demand by international business and leisure travellers for a wide spectrum of quality-minded hotels in Switzerland.”
