Hilton Strengthens Technology Department in MEA

Hilton has expanded its MEA (Middle East & Africa) operational team with two new senior appointments in its Technology department.

Ehab Zaki has joined the company as Regional Director Field Technology Services - Egypt & Levant, while Radi Karnib has joined as Regional Director Field Technology Services - Arabian Peninsula.

Ehab Zaki has over 25 years of IT experience within the hospitality sector having worked at a number of international hotel companies as well as with a specialized technology company in Egypt. An Egyptian national, Ehab’s new responsibilities cover IT operations at Hilton Worldwide’s regional office in Cairo, including; 18 hotels in Egypt, four in Levant as well as the company’s pipeline properties across North Africa.

Radi Karnib also has a comprehensive background in technology within the hospitality industry. His extensive practical experience in KSA, and in Makkah specifically, will be of great value as Hilton Worldwide continue with the plans to open six new hotels in Makkah; hiring a further 9,000 employees by 2014.

Ehab will be based at the Hilton Worldwide Regional Cairo Office, while Radi will operate from the Hilton Worldwide MEA Headquarters in Dubai.
