John Vouillamoz Joins Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport as GM

The Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport has appointed Mr. John Vouillamoz as General Manager.

The Swiss-born hospitality veteran has rich experience of the hospitality industry in China, having lived and worked here for more than 16 years. He was most recently opening General Manager of Holiday Inn Beijing Focus Square from 2009 to 2011 and General Manager of Crowne Plaza Beijing between 2007 and 2009. Previously, he was General Manager at Holiday Inn Riverside Wuhan, in central China.

In his role at Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport, Mr. Vouillamoz is in charge of operations and business development across all areas of the hotel in accordance with Langhams brand, concept and standards.

Mr. Vouillamoz also lived in Beijing between 1999 and 2003, during which time he was General Manager of the Sino-Swiss Beijing Airport Hotel. From 1990 to 1994, he held F&B positions at The Palace Hotel Peninsula Group Beijing and Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Beijing. Beyond China, he has worked at Aden Hotel Movenpick in Yemen, and Heliopolis Movenpick Hotel and Casino in Cairo, Egypt.

A graduate of the prestigious Hotel School of Vieux Bois in Geneva, Mr. Vouillamoz has undertaken several postgraduate study courses at Cornell University, New York, in business and advanced hotel management.
