Samuel Gacos Joins Caravelle Hotel HCM as DOSM

The Caravelle Hotel has appointed Samuel Gacos as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Samuel joins the Caravelle as the property readies for its most thorough makeover since a 1998 refurbishment and addition of a complementary 24-storey tower.

With a career spanning more than eighteen years in sales and marketing, Samuel has worked in numerous cluster and corporate management roles including the Manila Hotel, Shangri-La Hotel and Resorts, Hilton, GHM properties in Bali, and Sutera Harbour Resort Group in Malaysia.

His most recent role in Malaysia was as Group Director of Sales & Marketing responsible in overseeing 2 hotels specializing in MICE and Leisure, 5 resorts, a 27 Hole golf course , marina, and country club in charge of the overall planning and directing of business development initiatives.

Samuel is a Philippine national. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration from the University of the Philippines.
