InterContinental Hua Hin Resort Appoints New GM

The InterContinental Hua Hin Resort has appointed Britta Kutz as General Manager.

Ms Kutz has enjoyed a swift rise through the InterContinental ranks and joins the Hua Hin resort from her most recent role as Deputy General Manager of InterContinental Singapore.

It was in Singapore that her talent for leadership, brand awareness and excellent management was recognised, gaining her a coveted place on InterContinental's Accelerated General Manager Development Programme.

German-born Ms Kutz has also worked in sister properties in both Cologne and Frankfurt, Germany, where she was Acting General Manager and Director of Front Office respectively.

"It is a real honour to be appointed General Manager at such a celebrated resort," said Ms Kutz. "The unique heritage of the town – a royal favourite for many years – is complemented by the resort's refined and elegant style. Throughout it has been inspired by the architecture of the legendary King Rama IV's Summer Palace. I look forward to building on the resort's already excellent reputation and the special place it has at the heart of Hua Hin."
