China Airlines has launched SkyPriority as part of SkyTeam airline alliance’s roll-out of the global service.

SkyPriority is a series of priority airport services designed for First Class, Business Class, and SkyTeam Elite Plus customers, as well as China Airlines’ Paragon and Emerald card members.

China Airlines’ SkyPriority services include priority check-in, priority baggage drop-off, priority service at airport ticket offices, priority service at transfer desks, priority passport control and priority lines at security at selected airports, priority boarding, and priority baggage handing.

SkyPriority will be branded at China Airlines 68 self-operated airports, enabling passengers to instantly recognize SkyPriority services. Priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling will be available at all 68 airports. However, due to differences in the way airports are run, priority passport control will only be offered at Bangkok, Brisbane, Sydney, and Kuala Lumpur airports during initial period, while Sydney and Brisbane will also offer priority lines at security.

The SkyPriority indicator will be displayed on the boarding passes of China Airlines Paragon and Emerald Card members, SkyTeam Elite Plus customers, and First Class and Business Class passengers, making it easier for airport agents to recognize and assist eligible customers.

SkyPriority will be implemented at more than 800 airports during initial phase, with all current and future SkyTeam members participating, it will reach over 1,000 airports in 2013. Following these initial services, additional SkyPriority benefits will be introduced in the future.
