Garuda Indonesia has launched a premium check-in area at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Cengkareng.

Executive Class passengers and Garuda Frequent Flyer (GFF) Platinum members can now check-in, pay their airport taxes, make reservations, purchase new tickets or re-route their flights using the new exclusive check-in counters.

“The launch of the premium check-in area is part of our commitment to continually improve and deliver the best service to our passengers. It’s part of what we call the ‘Garuda Indonesia Experience’, the concept of service that combines the warm atmosphere and hospitality typical of Indonesia and covers pre-journey, pre-flight, inflight and post-journey,” said Nicodemus Lampe, Vice President, Area Asia, Garuda Indonesia. “The new service is also a move to show our appreciation to Garuda’s Executive Class and GFF Platinum members and help make their travels more comfortable and convenient.”

For GFF Platinum cardholders, the airline will also provide a Personal Service Assistant (PSA) who will help passengers with their check-in process while they relax in the designated waiting area.

Garuda Indonesia was recently named the ‘World’s Best Regional Airline’ by Skytrax, a London-based global airline review and ranking consultancy. The carrier was also voted ‘Best International Airline’ by research company Roy Morgan for a third time in its Customer Satisfaction Awards.
