Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Monday, 12 March 2012

The Mandarin Oriental Geneva has launched a Chocolate Indulgence weekend promotion priced from CHF1,580 for two, which invites chocolate lovers to enjoy a relaxing and sensory weekend in the land of chocolate.

The Chocolate Indulgence begins on Friday night with specially created chocolate cocktails, enjoyed to the sounds of live jazz music in the hotel’s chic MO Bar.

After an overnight stay including breakfast in one of the hotel’s bedrooms overlooking the Rhône River and Geneva’s charming old town, a sensory treatment awaits at the city’s renowned urban day spa After the Rain.

Combining relaxation, with the powerful antioxidants of cocoa beans, the treatment includes a double chocolate cream massage followed by a chocolate and whipped cream bath designed to leave the skin completely rehydrated.

After an indulgent morning, guests can enjoy Lake Geneva’s shore, or a stroll in the city’s charming old town with its wide array of cafes, world class shops and traditional architecture.

To end the day, a gastronomic dinner awaits at Le Sud, the hotel’s Paul Bocuse signature restaurant, and of course, the dessert suggestion is a specially created chocolate cake by the hotel’s patissier.

The exclusive Chocolate Indulgence package starts from CHF1,580 for two for a two-night stay and includes:

• Two nights in a Deluxe room
• Daily full breakfast buffet at the Brasserie Le Sud
• One 1 hour 45 minutes “After the Rain” Spa treatment for two people
• One dinner for two at Brasserie Le Sud
• Two chocolate cocktails at MO bar
• Unique Chocolate amenity with rose petal turndown service

The package is valid each weekend until 30 June 2012 and on weekends from 1 September until 31 December 2012. Restrictions and other terms and conditions may apply.
