“Korean Air is delighted to launch the ‘Asian On Air Program’ introducing the excellence of Korean culture to Asia,” Korean Air spokesman said. “As an international carrier with Korean origins, Korean Air brings Korean culture to life for the bloggers and all our passengers as soon as they board our plane. The Bloggers will play a big part in connecting fans with Korean Air, as well as the vibrant Korean nation.”

Applications are open to anyone who writes a blog. Applicants are required to upload a post with photos or videos on one of the topics from “Things I want to do, see and listen to in Korea” onto Korean Air’s Facebook page (for photos), or the Korea Tourism Organization’s Buzz Korea website (for videos).

Winners will be chosen by Korean Air and the Korean Tourism Organization based on the quality of content and applicants’ activeness on SNS channels. The online submission period is open until 23 September 2012.

The five-day “Asian On Air Program” covers the bustling metropolis of Seoul and its neighboring cities Yangpyeong and Paju.

Highlights of the tour include visiting a leading Korean technology brand, riding a rail bike, being pampered by skin care products and joining a K-pop contest.
