Costa Crociere Appoints Frederik Pénot as Vice President Corporate Marketing

Costa Crociere has appointed Frederik Pénot as Vice President Corporate Marketing, effective 3 September 2012.

He will report to Norbert Stiekema, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing.

In this position Frederik Pénot will coordinate all marketing activities concerning the development and positioning of the brand, communication, research and product development.

Frederik Pénot, 44, married and father of two young children, a keen sailor, skier and marathon runner, began his international career after graduating from the prestigious EAP European School of Management.

He started out at a strategic consultancy business, Roland Berger, before moving to Disneyland Paris, where he held a series of senior sales & marketing positions, including responsibility for the German and Austrian markets with operational headquarters in Munich. This period culminated in his appointment as Vice President Sales & Marketing for the French market with the objective of implementing sales & marketing strategy in one of that enterprise’s key geographical areas.

The following functions will be reporting to Frederik Pénot:

- International Marketing Communication;
- Direct Digital Sales & Marketing;
- Corporate Marketing Research & Competitive Intelligence.
