Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco this month celebrates the hotels 25th anniversary with new interiors.

The hotel has been redesigned by San Francisco-based interior designer Michael Booth of BAMO. The hotel now features an entirely new Italian travertine marble lobby, completely refurbished guest rooms and suites, and a soon-to-launch signature restaurant under the direction of Executive Chef Adam Mali.

Mandarin Oriental, San Franciscos 158 guestrooms, including seven suites, were designed with a calming, timeless aesthetic which frames the dramatic views of San Francisco and the Bay from the citys third tallest building.

Each guest room features custom-designed furnishings with a hint of French Deco and a home-away-from-home experience reflected in plush blue couches, large white ash burl wooden desks, and 400-thread count linens.

For the utmost indulgence, the suites are individually designed, each with a furnished, 800-square-foot landscaped terrace, perfect for admiring the views. The interiors have been thoroughly modernized and decorated in lush textures with a cool blue and silver palette.

Spacious bathrooms provide a spa-like ambience with rain head showers and freestanding sculptural bathtubs furnished with Molton Brown bath amenities.

The hotel provides a stylish setting for the latest addition to San Franciscos culinary scene with its signature restaurant, Brasserie S&P, which opens mid-May. Brasserie S&P will offer all-day dining from a menu designed by Executive Chef Adam Mali. Named in part for the hotels location at Sansome and Pine Streets in the heart of the financial area, the 90-seat restaurant blends seamlessly with the bar to offer a lively, sophisticated yet informal dining experience. Guests can enjoy an extensive array of cocktails, plus a wide selection of gin and tonics, accompanying a delicious menu to satisfy the palate of discerning guests.

The hotel will also unveil more than 5,000 square feet of function rooms later this summer. All of the hotels function space is situated on the second level with outdoor space for intimate gatherings located on the 40th floor.
