London-based private air charter specialist The Charter Company has appointed Emma Wilkinson as Director.

Emma’s appointment follows the departure of current Managing Director, Julian Burrell.

Julian originally joined Twinjet Aviation in 2000, as Charter Sales Executive and in 2005 he become a founder member and Director of The Charter Company (TCC), when the company launched as a subsidiary of Twinjet Aviation, focused wholly on air charter brokerage. In 2008 he was promoted to Managing Director.

Emma began her aviation career back in 1997 with a small operator based at Cambridge Airport. Using her experience in office management she assisted the two Directors in building a successful aviation company which outgrew the small offices and moved to the Business Centre at Stansted Airport.

Realising that Aviation was in her blood, Emma began a progressive career managing teams of Charter Sales Executives and promoting General Aviation at London City Airport accruing a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and strategic development.

Emma joined The Charter Company as Manager of the Private Jet team in 2011, and joined the Board of Directors in September 2012.

The Charter Company continues to expand and is adding to its team of experienced charter brokers with current vacancies in the roles of Commercial Jet Business Development Executive and Private Jet Charter Broker based at their offices in Holborn, London.
