Pegasus Solutions Appoints David Millili as Chief Web Officer

Pegasus Solutions has appointed David Millili as Chief Web Officer, a new role he will hold concurrent to his position as Chief Executive Officer of Open Hospitality, a Pegasus Solutions company.

In his new role, Millili will assume responsibility for Pegasus’ complete online presence, including Pegasus Solutions, Utell Hotels & Resorts, Open Hospitality and www.hotelbook.com.

Millili has led Open Hospitality for the last eight years, during which time, it has become a leader in providing hotel internet marketing services, including design, website development and hosting, mobile platforms, online search and marketing.

A former hotel general manager, Millili has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, becoming a sought-after source in the online marketing of hotels. In addition to founding Open Hospitality, which was recently acquired by Pegasus, Millili co-founded Timeless Hospitality. At Open Hospitality, he provides a diverse client base of more than 600 hotels in 38 countries with comprehensive online hotel Internet services.

“David has worked with some of the most renowned names in the hotel industry – Helmsley, Empire Hotels, Arora, Warwick and many others – to design and deliver revenue-focused online strategies,” said Mike Kistner, chief executive officer of Pegasus Solutions. “As Pegasus moves to become one of the top online hotel marketers in the hospitality industry, it’s important for us to leverage the same proven tools and expertise that our hotel customers will now be using to match the provider with the service.”

With his Open Hospitality team, Millili has developed customized websites, high-yielding email campaigns, social media and search engine management strategies that have earned critical acclaim and awards, including the coveted Google certification. The company is based in New York and maintains regional offices worldwide.

Millili currently teaches a course on distribution at New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies at the Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events.
