Pegasus Solutions Names Vice President for Asia Pacific

Pegasus Solutions has appointed Rachel Grier as vice president of business development, Asia Pacific (ASPAC).

Grier brings more than 20 years of experience to her position, where she will be responsible for helping hotels generate business opportunities through the Utell Hotels & Resorts representation service, as well as capturing bookings with Pegasus’ RezView NG central reservation system (CRS).

Prior to joining Pegasus, Grier held senior roles with large international groups such as InterContinental Hotels Group, and has been accountable for total revenue generation in hotel portfolios across Asia and the Middle East. She spent the last eight years of her career in Asia and speaks a number of Asian and European languages.

An Australian national, Grier is also a permanent resident of Singapore. She holds a diploma in hospitality and travel from Box Hill Institute.

 Tom Gallagher, executive vice president of revenue generation for Pegasus Solutions, said, “Rachel has in-depth experience in commercial sales, marketing and revenue management of hotels, air and travel services across all segments and distribution channels. Her knowledge of the ASPAC region will be invaluable in continuing to drive Pegasus and Utell as global leaders in the hospitality industry.”
