Stefan Buchs Joins Banyan Tree as VP Hotel Operations EMEA

Banyan Tree has appointed Mr. Stefan Buchs as Vice President, Hotel Operations – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Based in London, Mr. Buchs is responsible for supervising all existing hotel operations and upcoming developments in EMEA as well as those in Seychelles and Mauritius. He is also in charge of developing the group’s EMEA business through new opportunities.

Mr. Buchs replaces Mr. Bernold O. Schroeder and reports to Mr. Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman, Banyan Tree Holdings.

Mr. Buchs has built a wealth of experience at large-scale premier properties with deluxe facilities and spas in Europe. Prior to joining Banyan Tree, he was Vice President, CHI Hotels & Resorts, a high-end hotel management company and the exclusive operator and developer for the luxury Corinthia brand.
