Stuart Myerscough Joins AirAsia X as Marketing Manager Australia

AirAsia X has appointed Stuart Myerscough as Marketing Manager Australia.

Mr Myerscough will report to AirAsia X Head of Commercial Darren Wright and will be based in the Brisbane head office.

He has more than a decade of sales and marketing experience, including three years at Virgin Blue managing sponsorships and customer insights across the group of airlines.

Other previous roles include Trade Marketing Manager with Fairfax Media, Senior Account Manager at Colmar Brunton managing research and marketing strategy across organisations including Telstra, Ergon Energy and Golden Casket and Marketing Manager at business telco Comscentre.

“Stuart brings a wealth of aviation experience and marketing skills to this position and we look forward to his contribution to further growing the AirAsia brand,” Mr Wright said. “AirAsia has experienced strong growth since its Australian launch in 2007, with loads up year on year, additional services being regularly added and improved connectivity between destinations. We are excited about our next growth phase and the marketing activity driven by Stuart will play a vital part.”

AirAsia X operates daily services from Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast to Kuala Lumpur. AirAsia Indonesia also operates a Perth to Bali service.
