Marco Polo Names Jill Tan-Gunter as Vice President, Human Resources

Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Jill Tan-Gunter as Vice President, Human Resources.

Jill has more than 30 years experience in the hospitality industry, of which about 19 years were in executive management positions, spanning the Asia Pacific region, Mauritius, Seychelles and the Maldives.

She was most recently the Area Director of Human Resources Asia Pacific for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts based in Singapore.

“With the expansion of our group’s luxury hotels in China and regionally, Jill’s experience will be very beneficial as we align our human resources vision to meet the requirements of our growing network,” said Mr Steve Kleinschmidt, President of Marco Polo Hotels.

Marco Polo Hotels is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Wharf (Holdings) Ltd; a Hong Kong-listed company with core business interests in property and investments in communications and container-terminal operations.
