This October will see the unveiling of two event spaces at Raffles Hotel Le Royal Phnom Penh in Cambodia.

Following significant investment and refurbishment, the hotel’s Ballroom and Empress Room have been renovated and fitted with best in class technologies.

New features include a state of the art Audio Visual system (including in-ceiling speakers, HD projector screens, digital media playback and digital audio recording), wireless microphones, full colour stage lighting and a 16-speaker concert quality sound system.

The Raffles Hotel Le Royal’s new event spaces range in capacity from 50 (U Shape) to 200 (Reception) in the Empress Room, and 60 (U Shape) to 400 (Reception) in the Ballroom.

Raffles Hotel Le Royal and its sister hotel Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in Siem Reap are two of Asia’s great classic hotels. They were brought into the Raffles portfolio in 1997 after thorough and sensitive modernisation. Both hotels are currently undergoing significant refurbishment of guest rooms and public areas, to be completed in November 2011.

Richard Schestak, General Manager of Raffles Hotel Le Royal said, “The refurbishment of the Ballroom and the Empress Room at Raffles Hotel Le Royal will enable us to offer our clients two incredibly special spaces for both social and business events. The combination of the new technology and the skill and experience of the team means that we will be able to look forward to hosting some of the most prestigious events in the city.”
