Cebu Pacific is celebrating Chinese New Year by offering seats to Greater China from P888. The seat sale is from 3-5 February 2011 or until seats last, for travel between 1 May and 30 June 2011.

For a ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P888, passengers can travel from Clark to Macau and Hong Kong and from Manila to Taipei.

Meanwhile, P1,888 ‘Go Lite’ seats are up for grabs from Manila to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Macau and Hong Kong, as well as from Cebu to Hong Kong.

Those with check-in luggage need to add P100 upon booking.

“CEB is the only Philippine carrier operating the most number of routes and flights to Greater China of up to 80 flights a week from Manila, Cebu and Clark. For this Chinese New Year, we celebrate by lowering our fares to Greater China by as much as 62%, for the benefit of our passengers,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

The airline flies thrice weekly to Beijing and Guangzhou, daily to Shanghai and Taipei, 11 times weekly to Macau, and seven times daily to Hong Kong. It currently operates 80 flights weekly from the Philippines to Greater China.

“We are planning to grow our market to and from Greater China this year by 20%, after flying more than 980,000 passengers in 2010. Coupled with our trademark low fares and seat sales, we will also increase flights to Beijing and Guangzhou to accommodate passenger demand,” Ms Iyog added. “Guests without credit cards can also book online and pay through CEB partner banks and payment centers. Travelers can also select seats in advance and avail of CEB’s online check-in service for their travel convenience.”

CEB ended 2010 with the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines as all of its aircraft were acquired 100% brand new. It expects to end 2011 with a fleet of 37 aircraft composed of 10 Airbus A319, 19 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. It currently operates to 33 domestic and 16 international destinations from Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao.
