Nils-Arne Schroeder Appointed General Manager of Conrad Seoul

Nils-Arne Schroeder has been appointed as General Manager of the 434-room Conrad Seoul.

Located in the International Financial Centre Seoul (IFC) in Yeouido, Seoul, the hotel is scheduled to open in 2012.

Schroeder will lead a team in preparation for the opening of Conrad Seoul, develop the hotel’s vision and strategy, as well as oversee hotel operations.

Schroeder has over 20 years of hospitality experience, half of which was spent with Hilton Worldwide, and is familiar with the Korean market having previously held the positions of Director of Sales & Marketing for Hilton Seoul from 1999 to 2001, and General Manager of Hilton Namhae Golf & Spa Resort from 2006 to 2007. In between these roles, he was the Director of Business Development for Hilton Beijing, followed by Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

Schroeder was most recently the General Manager of Hilton Beijing Wangfujing.
