TG and PG Resume Samui Flights

Thai Airways International resumed flights to Samui on Wednesday, after the airport was closed as a result of heavy rain and flooding. The airline operated three flights to Samui today and transported around 600 passengers who were stranded on the island.

Bangkok to Samui

- TG281, original departure time of 0705 hours and arrival time in Samui at 0850 hours departed Bangkok at 1309 hours to arrive in Samui at 1445 hours

- TG2811 (special flight), departed Bangkok at 1409 hours to arrive in Samui at 1525 hours

- TG287, departing Bangkok at 1600 hours to arrive in Samui at 1705 hours

Samui to Bangkok

- TG282, original departure time of 0930 hours and arrival time in Bangkok at 1035 hours departed Samui at 1530 hours to arrive in Bangkok at 1620 hours

- TG2821 (special flight), departed Samui at 1545 hours to arrive in Bangkok at 1650 hours

- TG288 departed 1745 hours to arrive in Bangkok at 1850 hours.

Bangkok Airways Operates 19 flights to Samui

Bangkok Airways operated 19 flights in total on Wednesday for routing between Samui - Bangkok.

These flights are expected to carry around 2,000 passengers out of Samui Airport as the weather is starting to clear.

Passengers can contact Bangkok Airways Ticketing Office to re-book a new flight with no additional charge. The number to call is +662-265-8777 (08.00 – 20.00 hrs.)

Bangkok Airways is today expected to operate 17 flights in total between Samui – Bangkok, which it believes this will clear all stranded passengers within the day.

Bangkok Airways operates totally 56 flights in-out of Samui including Bangkok-Samui, Chiang Mai-Samui, Phuket-Samui, Krabi-Samui, U- Tapao-Samui, Hong Kong-Samui and Singapore-Samui.
