Wyndham to Open Ramada Encore Hotel in Bangalore

Wyndham is to open its first Ramada Encore hotel in India, in the vibrant city of Bangalore, at the end of 2011.

Owned by J.A.K. Associates, the eight-storey Ramada Encore property will be a lifestyle boutique hotel with 90 guestrooms featuring contemporary décor.

The Ramada Encore Bangalore will be located downtown next to the Embassy Golf Links Business Park on the Intermediate Ring Road, which is home to many prominent international companies. It will also only be 15 minutes from the city center - convenient for business and leisure travelers.

Amenities within the hotel will include a fitness center, multi-cuisine restaurant, lounge bar and meeting facilities.

“India is a strong growth market for us with many opportunities, especially in the mid-scale space,” said Ken Greene, Wyndham Hotel Group President and Managing Director – Asia Pacific. “The launch of the Ramada Encore brand allows us to diversify our offerings in the country and provide travellers with yet another choice within Wyndham Hotel Group.”
