TripAdvisor Expands Free Master Class Series to Indonesia and Thailand

TripAdvisor is expanding its master class event series, offered free to hospitality industry property owners and marketers, in Indonesia and Thailand, in association with Web in Travel.

The events will include presentations from TripAdvisor experts and guest speakers on best practices in hospitality marketing strategies and tips on reaching the website’s 40 million unique monthly visitors. 

The events will cover a range of topics and offer opportunities for Q&A and site demonstrations. Areas of focus include:

• Enhancing your TripAdvisor listing
• Increasing direct booking traffic to your property site
• Enhancing your website with free TripAdvisor tools
• Maintaining a positive online reputation
• Responding to guest reviews on TripAdvisor
• Implementing strategies to help get more reviews on TripAdvisor

Attendees will also hear from guest speakers from Web in Travel and Brand Karma, who will share industry travel trends and online reputation management strategies.

Mr. Alvin Ch’ng, commercial director Asia Pacific for TripAdvisor said, “TripAdvisor holds master classes around the world and due to great demand, we have expanded our programme into the region. It’s a great opportunity for travel industry professionals to discuss marketing solutions to some of today’s most pressing business challenges.”

The TripAdvisor master classes will be in two identical programmes: a morning session at 9:30 a.m. and an afternoon session at 2 p.m. ET.

The events will be held in Jakarta on 26 July, Bali on 28 July, Bangkok on 2 August and Phuket on 4 August 2011. Registration is now open for Indonesia and Thailand
