Martin Kleinmann Appointed GM of Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen

Mr. Martin Kleinmann has been appointed as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen.

Mr. Kleinmann, a 16-year veteran of the luxury hotel industry, is a former General Manager of Ritz-Carlton hotels in Istanbul, Cairo and Bahrain.

Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Mr. Kleinmann held senior executive positions at The Imperial in New Delhi, the Raffles Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg and the famous Hotel InterContinental New York Barclay.

He is a graduate of the Hotel Business School Bad Überkingen and will be joined in Shenzhen by his wife and two sons.

 “I am thrilled to be coming to this unique, prosperous, world-famous city and very proud to be joining such a dedicated team of Ladies and Gentlemen,” Mr. Kleinmann said. “In a very short time The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen has already secured a reputation for excellence that most hotels can only dream about, and I will be working hard to enrich that reputation further.”

The 282-room Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen is located in the heart of the Futian district, just opposite the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center and accessible to Shenzhen's new Metro system, which connects with the Hong Kong border.
