The 148-room Wingate by Wyndham Los Angeles International Airport has opened.

The rebranded hotel, a former Hampton Inn, was completely renovated and opened its doors under the Wingate by Wyndham growth strategy, which aims to help expand the midscale hotel chain in key markets throughout North America.

Owned by Washington-based LAX Hotel Investment Company, the Wingate by Wyndham Los Angeles International Airport is two miles east of Los Angeles International Airport, offering travelers convenient lodging near one of the country’s busiest travel hubs.

“We are proud to welcome the Wingate by Wyndham Los Angeles International Airport to our brand family,” said Bill Hall, Wingate by Wyndham brand senior vice president. “We are confident it will deliver the Wingate brand promise by providing business and leisure travelers visiting southern California with top-notch services, amenities and comfort they need at an all-inclusive rate.”

Like all Wingate by Wyndham hotels, the Wingate Los Angeles International Airport’s guest rooms offer ample living and working space with separate, well-lit work areas; complimentary high-speed wired and wireless internet access; flat-screen televisions; in-room coffee makers; and safes.

A complimentary, full breakfast features a variety of hot and cold items daily.

Other hotel facilities include a fitness center; meeting facilities; 24-hour business center with free computer access, copies, printing and faxes; complimentary parking; and courtesy shuttle service to and from Los Angeles International Airport.
