Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Monday, 27 June 2011

The New World Saigon has just completed a significant six months refurbishment of its spa and health club facilities.

The more than 750-square-meter spa area includes six treatment rooms for women, four treatment rooms for men, one foot massage salon and two VIP spa suites. Each room has been designed to guarantee pure relaxation at the highest level, meeting the needs of each individual guest. The VIP spa suites are suitable for two guests and are equipped with a private bathroom and a Jacuzzi or hot steam bath.

“We’ve created an experiential journey that is designed to awaken the senses,” said Phung Van My, director of rooms. “The new design complements the 10 private treatment rooms and two VIP spa suites and provides a spectacular setting for spa guests to enjoy a range of delightful treatments.”

Designed by K&B Construction & Consulting JSC Interior Designers, the spa’s public areas are bright and lively and include a spa welcome reception area and new hair salon.

A cascading water feature on the wall leads the guests to the changing and treatment rooms. Soft lemongrass and sandalwood scents fill the air, providing a journey for both the eyes and the mind.

The spa’s private areas include separate relaxation lounges for men and women, locker facilities, a steam room and a sauna. Spa guests are encouraged to step into the steam room and sauna and indulge their senses in the rejuvenating experiential showers.

The extensive spa menu offers a wide range of body and beauty treatments for both men and women, integrating Swedish massage techniques and the healing therapeutic effect of aromatic essential oils with contemporary spa treatments complemented by a complete range of TANN body and beauty products.

Beyond professional massages and body treatments, The Spa also offers yoga classes, providing the perfect way to meditate and reduce stress. A state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking a green garden offers a full range of cardio machines and weight equipment. Qualified fitness instructors support each guest in creating an effective training program tailored to the individual’s needs. Nutrition consultations and health and well-being programs complete the wide range of services that The Spa offers.

In celebration of the reopening of the newly refurbished facilities, The Spa has launched a Vitality Spa Package. The  3-hours package includes a deluxe manicure, body scrub, or body wrap, a relaxing massage and fruit juice for VND1,050,000 (US$50) instead of VND1,449,000 (US$69) per person including VAT. The special offer is only available until 31 July 2011.
