Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Thursday, 27 October 2011

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has partnered Agraria, a luxury home fragrance company, to provide guest amenities at the 170 InterContinental hotels and resorts around the world, beginning next summer.

In the early 1970’s Agraria opened its first shop on Nob Hill in San Francisco, around the same time that InterContinental began managing the InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco, its first hotel in North America. Today, Agraria can be found at the finest luxury retailers throughout the world.

Simon Scoot, vice president, Global Brand Management, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, said, “InterContinental Hotels & Resorts was founded in North America in 1946, and it’s great to be able to partner with an iconic American brand, that like us has successfully grown its business internationally and that will offer a product formulated exclusively for our sophisticated jet-set guests.”

Agraria was chosen after a comprehensive research process to select one toiletry brand that addressed the needs at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts around the globe, including exclusivity, premium brand positioning and green packaging.

Agraria products are consistently recommended by editors of top beauty and fashion magazines including Vogue, Vanity Fair and InStyle.
