Tash Tobias Joins InterContinental Singapore as GM

Ms. Tash Tobias has been appointed as General Manager of the InterContinental Singapore, where she brings with her close to 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, of which 9 years has been with the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), working in Australia and Vietnam.

In her most recent role as Hotel Manager of InterContinental Asiana Saigon, Tash oversaw the development of the luxury hotel and residences, leading it through to a successful opening. Undertaking an operational role, Tash led the team to build an exceptional service culture, strong engagement among colleagues and the local community alike, and at the same time delivering a solid return on investment within the first year of the businesss operation.

Tash was previously the Regional Director of Revenue Management, Australasia, where she successfully implemented measures to reduce cost and increase effectiveness across more than 50 IHG properties in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Prior to that, she was an Area Director of Sales & Marketing, responsible for all sales, marketing and revenue management efforts across six hotels, delivering exceptional results and above budget revenue to the region.
