Star City Hotel & Apartments in Sydney has been renamed as Astral Tower & Residences at The Star.

Part of an historic US$860 million refurbishment and extension of Sydney’s popular entertainment destination The Star, which includes re-orientating the entire complex to face the Harbour, Astral Tower & Residences at The Star has been renamed to reflect this exciting new extension.

Part of the Worldhotels Deluxe Collection, Astral Tower & Residences at The Star is a 480-room complex with rooms featuring marble bathrooms, stylish furnishing, modern amenities, and views of Sydney Harbour.

With its new name and unique location at the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, the complex incorporates a number of stylish restaurants where guests can enjoy an extensive menu of different cuisine with panoramic views across the Harbour.

Drew Schlesinger, General Manager of the Astral Tower & Residences at The Star, said, “This is an exciting move for us, to truly reflect our latest developments and to celebrate the new extension within The Star. Making up the Astral Tower & Residences at The Star, there are rooms, suites in the Astral Tower and apartments in the Residences. All the rooms have panoramic views and the modern comforts luxury accommodation has to offer. For guests looking for luxury and service, our suites offer every touch of decadence, from a private sauna to breathtaking views. In order to bring new experiences to guests, the top suites are undergoing refurbishments which will be completed in February.”

Astral Tower & Residences at The Star complements a neighboring 5-star sister hotel, The Darling, another affiliate property of Worldhotels opening in late October. Together, they bring total rooms and suites at The Star to over 650 across the three towers at the breathtaking location.
