[Video below] Manchester United has again teamed up with Turkish Airlines, this time to do an inflight safety video featuring the players themselves.

The airline turned to the stars of Manchester United in a bid to make its safety and inflight comfort information more engaging for passengers. The video features popular Manchester United stars, Wayne Rooney, Darren Fletcher, Chris Smalling, Nani and Rafael and Fabio da Silva recreating scenes in an exciting departure from the standard safety video.

The teammates each take their turn at comedic sketches that play on the descriptions given in the official voiceover of the correct safety procedures to be followed in the event of an emergency.

The inflight video follows Manchester United’s involvement in the current Turkish Airlines television commercial and forms part of the airline’s ongoing sponsorship deal with the club. The video will be screened in cabins on all Turkish Airlines flights from this month, June 2011.

Wayne Rooney, Manchester United said, “It’s always good fun to work with your team mates away from the pitch and today’s filming has been great. Hopefully our involvement with the video will make people more aware of the safety precautions to take when travelling with Turkish Airlines.”
