Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Thursday, 2 June 2011

Hertz UAE has launched the Hertz #1 Club Gold service programme at its Abu Dhabi International Airport location in a move to provide travellers the quickest possible service with extra benefits.

The loyalty programme will offer customers exclusive benefits including faster reservations, a much quicker vehicle collection and handover process, and privileged treatment every time you rent a Hertz car.

Hertz #1 Club Gold members flying into Abu Dhabi Airport will now only need to produce their driver’s licence to designated staff members in order to proceed to their vehicle, waiting in a designated ‘gold’ parking area near the counter.

Nigel Johnson, Managing Director, Hertz UAE said, “The Hertz #1 Club Gold programme is all about excellent service and efficiency. Air travel has become more and more time consuming lately because of security requirements and administration, and we want to make the car travel part of the journey as seamless as possible.”

Bader Al Rashedi, Head of Car Park & Transportation Services, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), the owner and operator of Abu Dhabi International Airport, said, “ADAC is always enthusiastic about supporting its partners within the airport community to enhance their facilities and further deliver quality services to our passengers. These initiatives support our vision to become one of the world’s leading airport groups.”

Customers who have rented from Hertz three times during the calendar year are eligible to upgrade to the Hertz #1 Club Gold. Hertz UAE, however, is granting travellers a limited-time complimentary upgrade to the gold tier when they enrol via its website.

Frequent Hertz #1 Club Gold renters will be invited to enjoy even higher levels of service, recognition and incentives with Hertz #1 Club Gold Five Star and Hertz #1 Club Gold President’s Circle, including free car upgrades and free rental vouchers.
