Best Western has opened its first hotel in Cambodia. The all-suite Best Western Suites and Sweet Resort Angkor is located in the popular tourism destination of Siem Reap.

Siem Reap is the location of the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s Angkor temple complexes, comprised of the world-renowned Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.

The hotel is less than a 10 minute drive from both Siem Reap town and the main entrance to the famous Angkor Wat temple complex and  offers 18 stylish suites housed in nine villas, each with their own private pool and terrace.

Featuring an enchanting Khmer-style design and décor, the villas are nestled among tropical gardens around an ornamental lake in a picturesque setting similar to a typical Cambodian floating village.

“The addition of the fascinating country of Cambodia is a significant milestone for Best Western International. We are very much looking forward to both spreading the news about this amazing destination to more of the world’s travelers, and to sharing our accommodation expertise with the local industry in Siem Reap,” said Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations – Asia and the Middle East, Glenn de Souza.

Siem Reap in north west Cambodia is served by direct flights from regional points like Bangkok, Vientiane, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul and Taipei, as well as the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh. Tourists can also reach Siem Reap overland from Phnom Penh and Thailand.
