Delta Air Lines SkyMiles members can now earn 500 miles for each eligible stay at any participating Mandarin Oriental property around the world.

To celebrate the launch of this new partnership, Delta and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group are offering a special double miles benefit to SkyMiles members for each stay through 31 December 2011.

“We continue to build a better travel experience for SkyMiles members and these new benefits with Mandarin Oriental are a significant win for our customers,” said Jeff Robertson, vice president - SkyMiles, Delta Air Lines. “Our relationships with other travel partners diversify the SkyMiles experience for our members. This is something customers have told us is very important to them.”

Now in its 30th year, SkyMiles offers members multiple mileage-earning opportunities including 100% miles on every purchased fare when flying with Delta, Delta Shuttle, the Delta Connection and by flying with SkyTeam alliance partners. Additional mile-earning opportunities are offered through other airline partners, hotels and bank partners including the co-branded credit card with Bank of Guam Bank of the Philippine Islands, Samsung in Korea and Citibank, JCB and Diners Club in Japan. Delta is also introducing more ways to redeem miles, including airline tickets, merchandise, car rentals and hotel stays for customers.
