Czech Airlines Launches Flights Between Abu Dhabi and Prague

Czech Airlines has launched four non-stop weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Prague. The flights will operate on a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways.

Using an Airbus A319 aircraft, the flights will depart from Abu Dhabi International Airport every Monday and Thursday at 09:50 local time (LT) to arrive in Prague at 14:15, and every Sunday and Wednesday at 01:35 to arrive in Prague at 06:00.

The new route will bring the number of destinations served at Abu Dhabi International Airport to over 85 destinations across more than 45 countries around the world.

“Thanks to the perfect harmonization of departure and arrival times at Abu Dhabi, destinations in the Middle East, Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Asia and Australia have never been as accessible from Prague as they are now. We look forward to working with Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) on further developing our services to travelers from Abu Dhabi International Airport,” said Miroslav Dvorák, President of Czech Airlines. “And thanks to a very close and fruitful cooperation with Etihad Airways enchanting city of Prague opens not only to point to point travelers from Abu Dhabi but also to a numerous number of passengers travelling via Abu Dhabi from the wide network of destinations offered by Etihad Airways.”

Tickets for the new route can be purchased through both Czech Airlines and Etihad Airways, as the partnership between Czech Airlines and Etihad Airways allows both companies’ passengers to book and travel with just one ticket for their entire journey with a stopover in Abu Dhabi.
