Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Wednesday, 22 June 2011

Air Tahiti Nui has adopted a new checked baggage allowance for all Economy Class passengers.

For tickets issued on or after 1 July 2011, 2011, the checked baggage allowance across the Air Tahiti Nui network will be one piece of luggage weighing a maximum of 23 kilograms.

Allowances for First and Business Class passengers and carry-on luggage are not affected by this change.

Air Tahiti Nui offers a 10kg cabin-baggage allowance for all passengers.

Through-check luggage is only available for passengers holding a single ticket from Australia to Tahiti. Those with separate tickets from Australia to New Zealand, and New Zealand to Tahiti, will be required to collect their luggage and re-check in Auckland.
