Amadeus and Eva Airways, Taiwans second largest international airline, have renewed a distribution agreement that provides Amadeus travel agents worldwide with access to the carriers fares, schedules and ticketing.

With this new agreement, Eva Air has committed to make the same fares, schedules and inventory available through the Amadeus system as is available through any global distribution provider (GDS).

Amadeus subscribing travel agencies will have access to a comprehensive range of fares, schedules and inventory from Eva Air. Additionally, in Taiwan, Amadeus and the airline will take the opportunity to run several joint promotions for the travel agency community to celebrate Eva Airs upcoming 20th anniversary.

Eva Airways said that this agreement with Amadeus supports Eva Airs ambitious plans to expand not only in the home market, Taiwan, but also other markets in Asia and globally. The airline currently operates in over 50 cities.

This content agreement underscores our long-term partnership with Eva Airways, and ensures that Amadeus travel agents in Taiwan, Asia Pacific and globally, can enjoy full access to Eva Airways content through the Amadeus Selling Platform, said John Chapman, Vice President, Airline Group, Amadeus Asia Pacific. This agreement is in line with Amadeus strategic initiative to secure long-term efficient access to global airline content, ensuring functional and content parity with other distribution channels.
