Amadeus is set to launch its Printmytrip solution for travel agents in Asia Pacific.

The new solution enables travel quotations, itineraries and electronic tickets to be customised according to the travellers’ needs. Travel agents can modify the design layout and include airline contact details, weather forecast at the travellers’ destination, emergency contact numbers and other important information.

Bruno desFontaines, Vice President, Business Solutions for Amadeus Asia Pacific said, “We are very excited to launch Amadeus Printmytrip in Asia. This new solution can be tailored to suit customers’ individual needs and with its extensive range of document customisation features, has the potential to positively impact a travel agency’s brand. Travellers will also benefit from the added convenience of having additional booking information on their itineraries that previously was not possible.”

Amadeus Printmytrip is also fully integrated with the Amadeus Selling Platform allowing travel agents to easily distribute travel quotations, itineraries and e-tickets via email or SMS, as well as include important booking information such as fare types, cabin class and baggage allowance to the traveller’s itinerary.

In addition to customisable features, Printmytrip Premium enables travel agents to brand the itinerary and up-sell products and services through advertising.

Amadeus Printmytrip will be rolled out across Asia Pacific from August 2011.

As part of the launch promotion, Printmytrip will be offered free of charge to interested travel agencies until the end of October 2011.
