They include Helsinki in Finland and Sao Paolo in Brazil, which is the first point in South America to be connected to Changi. During the same period, four carriers - Air Macau, Finnair, Hong Kong Airlines and Taiwans TransAsia Airways joined Changis family of airlines.

As at 1 July 2011, Changi Airport serves 100 airlines operating more than 5,800 weekly flights to some 200 cities in 60 countries and territories.
