Best Western Opens Resort on Koh Phangan, Thailand

Best Western has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Thailand with the opening of the opened the Best Western Phanganburi Resort on Koh Phangan, a beautiful island just 30 minutes boat ride from Koh Samui.

The 96-room resort boasts a beautiful location on Koh Phangans serene Haad Rin Nai beach, called also Sun Set Beach.

Best Western Phanganburi Resorts guestrooms and cottages are air-conditioned with their own terrace or balcony and offer amenities such as LCD TV with local and international channels, telephone, refrigerator, safety box, hairdryer, coffee/tea facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Resort facilities include two swimming pools - one at the beach - a restaurant, fitness room, pool table, massage and spa service and function room for up to 120 people cocktail style.

Activities on offer include beach activities as beach football, while kayaks, cars, motorbikes and mountain bikes can be rented.

Best Western Phanganburi Resorts location offers the best of both worlds. The resort itself is a peaceful sanctuary of sun, sand and sea with comfortable accommodation and great facilities. At the same time, the bustling atmosphere of Haad Rin Nok beach and Haad Rin town are easily reached with a short stroll overland, said Best Western Internationals Vice President of International Operations Asia and the Middle East, Glenn de Souza.

The new resort is Best Westerns 11th property in Thailand and adds yet another destination to the chains growing portfolio, which already includes Bangkok, Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and Phuket.

Koh Phangan is also sometimes referred to as Koh Pha Ngan.
