Travelport and Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, Russia’s national carrier and largest airline, have entered into a new agreement that secures full content from the carrier for Galileo and Worldspan-connected travel agents worldwide.

Effective immediately, the five-year deal provides all Travelport GDS users with access to the fares and inventory of Aeroflot, including the carrier’s best published fares and functionality parity with all other distribution channels.

“Aeroflot is a notable airline player in Europe and offers an extensive route network across Russia, Siberia and the Far East,” said Robin Ranken, Head of Airline Supplier Services for Travelport in Europe. “Corporate travellers, in particular, are increasingly opting for Aeroflot’s flights so we are truly pleased to have secured this full content for our travel agency customers.”

From its hub in Moscow, Aeroflot operates flights to 103 destinations in 50 countries and is a full member of SkyTeam.
