Expanded Role for Aiden McAuley @ Swisstel and Fairmont Hotels

Mr. Aiden McAuley has been appointed as Managing Director of both Swisstel The Stamford and Fairmont Singapore.

Previously, he held the dual roles of Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific, for Swisstel Hotels & Resorts and General Manager of Swisstel the Stamford.

As Managing Director of Swisstel The Stamford and Fairmont Singapore, Aiden will work closely with the executive teams of each hotel to create synergies in line with the companys other multi brand hotel complexes. He will also retain his position of Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific, Swisstel Hotels and Resorts where he will oversee Swisstel properties in Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Australia and India, working closely with the respective hotels General Managers on strategic and financial issues.

Aiden has over 25 years of industry experience. He first joined Swisstel in 1999 as the General Manager of Swisstel The Howard, London. In 2005, he moved from London to Singapore where he was the General Manager of Swisstel The Stamford. Aiden then assumed the dual positions of General Manager of Swisstel The Stamford and Regional Vice President for the Asia Pacific region in 2007. This role requires him to work closely with the corporate office to spearhead future operations as well as the development of networks to support brand expansion within the region.

Prior to joining Swisstel, Aiden held positions at other international brands including Hilton.
