The much-talked about Likuid has just opened in Lan Kwai Fong, home to one of Hong Kong’s most vibrant night scenes.

With its grand opening this past weekend, Likuid promises the coolest beats and some of the most extravagant light shows in town.

“Likuid strives to deliver the highest quality clubbing experience to its guests. We hope to accomplish this by offering a world class sound system, a unique laser show, a decadent drinks list and top class service,” said Rachel Geicke, Managing Director.

Showcasing regular international DJs sets and extravagant theme nights, the parties at Likuid aim to suit all tastes. The K-Array sound system will help position Likuid as a top choice for music lovers.

Likuid has chosen DJ Gruv as their Music Coordinator. Originally from Baltimore, Gruv has over 10 years experience in the Asia Pacific region including an 8-year residency at Drop. He has played at Volar, Club 97, Tazmania Ballroom and Cubic in Macau. More recently, he was responsible for the music direction for the Pure International group. DJ Ulysses, the 1st runner up in 1998 DMC mixing Championship, will also play at the club regularly.

The 2,000 sq. ft venue has been designed by Kinney Chan, also responsible for the cool interiors of Hyde, Solas and Shore. Inspired by ‘fluidity’, Likuid’s interior is all about curves and arabesques allowing guests to see and be seen.

A high-tech lighting system enables the club to change color in order to fit all moods and occasions, from chill out evenings to hard and heavy club events. The color of the distinctive chrome façade can also be transformed by the exterior lighting system.
