Birthe Bolz has been appointed as General Manager of the Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments Dubai.

Ms Bolz returns to Dubai after a spell in Egypt where she headed the opening sales and marketing taskforce at the Dusit Thani Lakeview Cairo.

A graduate of Cambridge, UK, multi-lingual Ms Bolz studied languages and tourism before starting her career in the Middle East as resident manager for Arabian Adventures in Abu Dhabi in 1994. She then joined Rotana Hotels developing her career to leave after several years as director of sales and marketing prior to a spell as a hospitality consultant with BDO, after which she moved back to Europe to work on the launch of a web-based distribution system.
