Thai Airways International has received another retrofitted Airbus A330-300.

This aircraft, the second of five retrofitted A330-300s, registered as HS-TER, MSN 1060, and royally bestowed as U-Thong, returns to Bangkok from Hamburg, Germany, after undergoing the installation of new economy class seats by the seat manufacturer ZIM Flugsitz GmbH.

Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, Thai Airways President, said, "The arrival of this second retrofitted aircraft comes just two weeks after the first retrofitted A330-300 arrived in March. We're not only excited about getting the improved products into the fleet, we are excited for our customers who can enjoy improved products."

The new seats have a 32-inch seat pitch, an 18-inch seat width, and a 9-inch personal screen with 100 movie selections.

Thai plans to operate the A330-300 aircraft, with Business class and Economy class offerings, mainly on regional routes.

The Business Class products include a shell-type seating design that has a 58-inch pitch, a 20-inch width, reclining to 170 degrees. Business Class passengers on these aircraft can enjoy the new inflight entertainment system on a 15-inch personal screen with 100 movies and short programs to choose from, as well as enjoy a vast music selection.
